This Aircraft Electrician position is located in the Executive Mission Helicopter Program, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) in Jacksonville, FL.

Incumbent works at the journeyman level performing the full range of the Aircraft Electrician duties, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrates and installs electrical systems, equipment and accessories used in the Executive Mission helicopter (i.e. H-60 and/or H-3 platform).

This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance based upon a Single Scope Background

Additionally, the selectee(s) shall be approved for access to Sensitive

Compartmented Information (SCI).

Ability to perform limited work as an Aircraft Electrician at an Intermediate level maintenance facility with an aircraft in operational flight status. I have assisted in the performance of routine repair and modification and ability to troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems. I have prepared the necessary equipment needed to test aircraft electrical systems. I have worked with the common tools to perform basic aircraft electrical repairs. I have interpreted blueprints and schematics to make minor repairs to aircraft electrical equipment.
