This Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic position is located in the Executive Mission Helicopter Program, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, FL.

The purpose of this position is to accomplish electronic functions on the H-60 and/or H-3 platforms. TheElectronic Integrated Systems Mechanic installs, troubleshoots, repairs, tests, modifies, calibrates and performs functional and quantitative checks on numerous complex integrated electronic systems and devices.

YANKEE WHITE:

This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance based upon a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), and favorably adjudicated and approved for Presidential Support Duty (PSD) in accordance with DoD Directive 5210.55 (Access to Presidential Support Facilities-Special Access Program, Yankee White).

Additionally, the selectee(s) shall be approved for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

DUTIES:

Perform installation, operation, trouble analysis and final alignment of H-60 and H-3 aircraft systems such as Search and Navigational Radar, Communications, Navigation, Electronic Countermeasures, Data Computing, Recording Equipment, Weapons Computer, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and inertial measurement systems.

Perform circuit analysis and operational checks, troubleshooting and testing of integrated electronic systems while under actual operating conditions.

Apply advanced and complex electronic principles to logically analyze system faults and errors.

Use a variety of hand and power tools common to the electronics trade to facilitate the repair of equipment.

Travel Required:

OCCASIONAL TRAVEL, UP TO 10%, MAY BE REQUIRED TO SUPPORT THE MISSION.
